After a long break from traveling, I was drawn to the long-awaited Costa Rica in June 2022. I went to the Pacific coast, the far north and the highlands to photograph colorful hummingbirds and to get the rare quetzal in front of my lens. Among the many different animals I was able to photograph were songbirds, toucans, hummingbirds, snakes, frogs, bats and many more!
During this time thousands of pictures were taken again and a first selection, which will surely grow in the next weeks/months, can be seen here.
