When I saw that a photo trip to Iran was being offered, my feelings swayed between enthusiasm and adventure, thinking  - what would probably await me there. Unexpectedly, I met incredibly nice and open minded people who approached tourists enthusiastically and I was often asked to photograph them. The trip started in Tehran and led the photo group through the desert city of Khur, Garmeh, Yazd, Isfahan and Chelgerd, to Shiraz, from where we heded back to Frankfurt.
