My 3-week trip to Mongolia was an expedition study trip. The tour started in Ulan Bator and then went south to the Gobi Desert, past the Khogo-Khan Mountains, Karakorum, Orkhon Valley, Bayanzag to Khongoryn Els. From there we went back to Ulan Bator and for another week up to the Mongolian north to Mörön at Lake Chöwsgöl. Especially the overnight stays in the Gers (yurts) were great and despite the "non-photo trip" I managed to capture many impressions and encounters photographically. In my blog I posted a little movie about throat singing, which is a tradition in Mongolia.
