kyrgyzstan

After successfully crossing of the Uzbek/Kyrgyz border, my Kyrgyz adventure started in Osh, where the rest of the group, the guide and the driver were already waiting for us. The itinerary took us to Arslanbob, Sary-Chelek, Kyzyl-Oj, over the Ala-Bel Pass, Tamga south of Lake Issyk-Kul, Karakol and Bishkek from where we headed back home again. On this trip I enjoyed very much how close we came into contact with the locals. We stayed overnight with families and were cordially attended there. We saw how bread is baked in Kyrgyzstan. In my blog I posted more photographic impressions, telling about the places where we ate and how the family of our guide in Karakol baked their bread. Impressions that stay forever!
